The Madhouse Update

On 1 July 1992, introducing The USS Vincennes: Public War, Secret War for ABC News, America' top political commentator, Ted Koppel, said this:

"GOVERNMENTS LIE. THEY DO IT ALL THE TIME. And, much as we’d like to believe otherwise, the US government is no exception. There were times when we may have believed otherwise. But after Vietnam and Watergate, we know better."



The 2005 New Labour Manifesto promised the British people a referendum on whether we should sign up to the proposed European Constitution.

This is how it was put:

“It is a good treaty for Britain and for the new Europe. WE WILL PUT IT TO THE BRITISH PEOPLE IN A REFERENDUM and campaign wholeheartedly for a ‘yes’ vote to keep Britain a leading nation in Europe.”

In a 24 June 2007 statement during a BBC interview with Jon Sopel, Gordon Brown reiterated this position thus:

"The manifesto is what we put to the public. WE'VE GOT TO HONOUR THAT MANIFESTO. THAT IS AN ISSUE OF TRUST WITH ME AND THE ELECTORATE."

Amazingly, Brown was duplicitous enough to renege upon this utterly categoric statement within the very same interview:

"THIS IS NOT A NEW CONSTITUTION,” he said. “IT'S AN AMENDING TREATY… THE ISSUES THAT WE WERE WORRIED ABOUT HAVE BEEN DEALT WITH… THE PUBLIC WOULD NOT… EXPECT THERE TO BE A REFERENDUM."

Let’s test the "not-a-constitution" assertion against the things one or two other in-the-know folk have said:

The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, was quoted thus in the 29 June 2007 edition of The Daily Telegraph:

"THE SUBSTANCE OF THE CONSTITUTION IS MAINTAINED. THIS IS A FACT."

Jose Luis Zapatero, the Spanish Prime Minister, said this on 27 July 2007:

"WE HAVE NOT ABANDONED ANY ESSENTIAL POINT OF THE CONSTITUTION. IT IS WITHOUT DOUBT BETTER THAN A TREATY. IT’S A PROJECT WHICH HAS A FOUNDING CHARACTER, A TREATY FOR A NEW EUROPE."

Bertie Ahern, the Irish Prime Minister, was quoted thus in the 24 June 2007 edition of The Irish Independent:

"90 PER CENT OF THE CONSTITUTION REMAINS... The changes have brought absolutely no spectacular modification to the 2004 accord."

Valéry Giscard d’Estaing, the former French President and principal author of the original Constitution, was quoted thus in the 14 June 2007 edition of Le Monde:

"We had to camouflage parts of the Constitutional Treaty… In this way, OPINION WOULD BE LED TO ACCEPT, WITHOUT KNOWING IT, THE PROVISIONS WHICH ONE DOES NOT DARE TO PRESENT TO THE PUBLIC IN A DIRECT MANNER."

Karel de Gucht, the Belgian Minister for Foreign Affairs, was quoted thus by the 23 June 2007 edition of Flanders Information:

"The goal of the Constitutional Treaty was to be legible. The goal of this Treaty is to be illegible. THE CONSTITUTIONAL TREATY WAS CLEAR WHEREAS THIS NEW TREATY IS OBSCURE. IT IS A SUCCESS."

The 3 July 2007 edition of The Telegraph quoted Jean-Claude Juncker, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, thus:

"OF COURSE THERE WILL BE A TRANSFER OF SOVEREIGNTY BUT WOULD I BE INTELLIGENT TO DRAW THE PUBLIC ATTENTION TO THIS FACT?"

Vaclav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic, was quoted as follows by the 13 June 2007 edition of The Guardian:

"THE CHANGES HAVE PURELY BEEN COSMETIC AND THE BASE DOCUMENT STAYS THE SAME."

On 7 March 2008, The Daily Mail commented as follows:

"Yesterday will go down in history as the day our politicians surrendered most of what was left of Britain's sovereignty and trusted the nation's future to a European superstate. It will also go down as one of the blackest ever for our democracy...

BOTH GOVERNMENT AND OPPOSITION MPS DELIBERATELY BROKE THE SOLEMN PLEDGE THEY MADE TO THE ELECTORATE IN 2005. EVERY LABOUR CANDIDATE WENT INTO THAT ELECTION COMMITTED TO AN UNEQUIVOCAL PLEDGE TO CALL A REFERENDUM ON WHAT WAS THEN CALLED THE EU CONSTITUTIONAL TREATY - now known, after a few cosmetic tweaks, as the Lisbon Treaty. Their manifesto said…

‘WE WILL PUT IT TO THE BRITISH PEOPLE IN A REFERENDUM'...

Not much room for misunderstanding there, was there?

Yet last night, THE GREAT MAJORITY OF LABOUR MPS TROOPED THROUGH THE DIVISION LOBBIES TO VOTE AGAINST A REFERENDUM. WHAT HOPE IS THERE FOR DEMOCRACY, WHEN MPS PLEDGE ONE THING TO GET ELECTED - AND THEN DO THE EXACT OPPOSITE WHEN THE VOTERS HAVE GIVEN THEM THEIR TRUST?

The LibDems' official position, under their pathetic new leader Nick Clegg, has been every bit as morally contemptible - perhaps even more so. Here, verbatim, is the party's 2005 election pledge…

‘RATIFICATION MUST BE SUBJECT TO A REFERENDUM OF THE BRITISH PEOPLE’… Yet last night, Mr CLEGG ORDERED HIS MPS TO ABSTAIN - THEREBY ENSURING THE TREATY WOULD BE RATIFIED WITHOUT VOTERS' CONSENT…

WHAT WE WITNESSED LAST NIGHT WAS THE POLITICAL CLASS GANGING UP AGAINST THE VOTERS WHO GAVE THEM POWER.

THE RESULT - BARRING A MIRACLE - IS THAT BRITAIN WILL NOW SURRENDER ITS VETO OVER 60 IMPORTANT AREAS OF POLICY TO THE UNELECTED BUREAUCRACY IN BRUSSELS. Meanwhile, we will be obliged to take orders from AN UNELECTED PRESIDENT OF EUROPE - WHO, GOD FORBID, MAY EVEN BE TONY BLAIR.

As the pettifogging regulations flood in from Brussels over the years ahead, there will be absolutely nothing we can do about it. And all because, ON WEDNESDAY MARCH 5, 2008, BRITISH MPS DECIDED EN MASSE TO BREAK THEIR WORD TO THE PEOPLE - AND SURRENDERED THE NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE FOR WHICH THEIR FOREFATHERS LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES.”

Gisela Stuart, the New Labour MP for Birmingham Edgbaston, who is German, played a key role in drawing up the original EU constitution on the UK‘s behalf.

She was as damning as the author of the preceding article in her 15 October 2007 comment in The Evening Standard:

"Sticking to your guns in defence of A PATENTLY DISHONEST POSITION is not leadership but the soft option and A COP OUT FROM A SPECIFIC PROMISE MADE TO VOTERS", she said. "THE PATH ADOPTED BY THE GOVERNMENT IS NEITHER HONEST NOR COHERENT."

The next day she was quoted thus throughout the mainstream media:

"IT'S A MATTER OF TRUST AND INTEGRITY. A REFERENDUM WAS PROMISED. IT SHOULD BE DELIVERED. IF LABOUR CAN'T TRUST THE PEOPLE, WHY SHOULD THE PEOPLE TRUST LABOUR?"

Anyway, when the next General Election rolls around, if some party hack comes a-knocking on your door and insists that the Lisbon Treaty isn’t, to all intents and purposes, just the same as the original constitutional fit-up, he’ll be lying.

And when you see Gordon Brown revisiting his “public… would not expect there to be a referendum” nonsense, you can be sure that he is telling as big a porkie pie as any his predecessor ever told.

As Ted Koppel said, ladies and gentlemen: “Politicians lie. They do it all the time”.

The really remarkable thing, as far as I’m concerned, is the fact that we keep falling for their lies.

Over and over again.



On 2 November 2009, at a Royal Society for the Arts gathering: the Home Secretary, Alan Johnson, admitted that New Labour had been "maladroit" in handling the immigration issue.

Here are some of the apologetic truths Johnson told:

"I accept that governments of both persuasions, including this one, have been maladroit in their handling of this issue."

"Our record is not perfect".

"There are communities which have been disproportionately affected by immigration, where PEOPLE HAVE LEGITIMATE CONCERNS ABOUT THE STRAIN THAT THE GROWTH IN THE LOCAL POPULATION HAS PLACED ON JOBS AND SERVICES."

"Unreturned national prisoners and asylum seekers may have accumulated under previous administrations but THEY CONTINUED TO BE IGNORED FOR FAR TOO LONG ON OUR WATCH."

This is all a bit of a turnabout since Johnson made the following blasé comment a little over three months ago:

"I DO NOT LIE AWAKE AT NIGHT WORRYING ABOUT A POPULATION OF 70 MILLION. I’M HAPPY TO LIVE IN A MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY."

Most political commentators are putting Johnson's new-found humility down to the popularity of the BNP.

In other words, he's trawling for lost votes.

Sir Andrew Green, Chairman of think tank Migrationwatch UK, responded thus to Johnson's partial climbdown:

"THIS APOLOGY IS THREE MILLION IMMIGRANTS TOO LATE...

We now know that SOME OF HIS COLLEAGUES DELIBERATELY ENCOURAGED MASS IMMIGRATION SO AS TO ENGINEER A MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY IN THE FULL KNOWLEDGE THAT THEY WERE FLYING IN THE FACE OF PUBLIC OPINION, ESPECIALLY THEIR OWN WORKING CLASS SUPPORTERS... LABOUR HAVE SECRETLY ENCOURAGED MASS IMMIGRATION SO AS TO ENGINEER A HUGE CHANGE IN OUR SOCIETY IN THE FULL KNOWLEDGE THAT IT WOULD BE TOTALLY AGAINST PUBLIC OPINION."

And that, ladies and gents, is the plain truth.

Here a Johnsonian fib:

"WE STRUGGLED TO CONTAIN THE HUGE SURGE IN MIGRATION, Legal and illegal, that emerged from countries such as Kosovo, Iraq, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and Somalia."

Anyone who thinks New Labour "struggled" to do anything other than open the floodgates as wide as they'd go is a brainwashed airhead or a bought-and-paid-for quangocrat.

Here's a misleading half-truth:

"When we came in to government in 1997, THERE WAS NO MAGIC BUTTON we could push immediately to resolve all the historic, political and operation problems associated with immigration."

The "magic button" would have involved New Labour raising the drawbridge and lowering the benefits, so I guess, for them, there was, indeed, "no magic button".

As they always intended to do precisely the opposite.

During the course of Johnson's speech he told one great, big porkie:

"THIS GOVERNMENT HAS NEVER PURSUED AN OPEN-DOOR IMMIGRATION POLICY."

Lied the Home Secretary.

Here's proof of Johnson's dishonesty:

On 23 October 2009, Andrew Neather, a former government advisor to Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett amongst others, dropped this revelatory bombshell in The Evening Standard:

“THE DELIBERATE POLICY OF MINISTERS FROM LATE 2000 UNTIL AT LEAST FEBRUARY LAST YEAR… WAS TO OPEN UP THE UK TO MASS MIGRATION…

The PIU's reports were legendarily tedious within Whitehall BUT THEIR BIG IMMIGRATION REPORT WAS SURROUNDED BY AN UNUSUAL AIR OF BOTH ANTICIPATION AND SECRECY. DRAFTS WERE HANDED OUT IN SUMMER 2000 ONLY WITH EXTREME RELUCTANCE: THERE WAS A PARANOIA ABOUT IT REACHING THE MEDIA.

Eventually published in January 2001, the innocuously labelled ‘RDS Occasional Paper no. 67’, ‘Migration: an economic and social analysis’ focused heavily on the labour market case. But THE EARLIER DRAFTS I SAW ALSO INCLUDED A DRIVING POLITICAL PURPOSE: THAT MASS IMMIGRATION WAS THE WAY THAT THE GOVERNMENT WAS GOING TO MAKE THE UK TRULY MULTICULTURAL.

I remember coming away from some discussions with the clear sense that THE POLICY WAS INTENDED… TO RUB THE RIGHT'S NOSE IN DIVERSITY and render their arguments out of date…

THERE WAS A RELUCTANCE... IN GOVERNMENT TO DISCUSS WHAT INCREASED IMMIGRATION WOULD MEAN, ABOVE ALL FOR LABOUR'S CORE WHITE WORKING-CLASS VOTE. This shone through even in the published report: THE ‘SOCIAL OUTCOMES’ IT TALKS ABOUT ARE SOLELY THOSE FOR IMMIGRANTS…

The results were dramatic. In 1995, 55,000 FOREIGNERS WERE GRANTED THE RIGHT TO SETTLE IN THE UK. BY 2005 THAT HAD RISEN TO 179,000... In addition, HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF MIGRANTS HAVE COME FROM THE NEW EU MEMBER STATES SINCE 2004, MOST REQUIRING NEITHER VISAS NOR PERMISSION TO WORK OR SETTLE… THE GOVERNMENT HAD CREATED ITS LONGED-FOR IMMIGRATION BOOM”.

You might think, from the astounding revelations Andrew Neather apprises us of above, that he is a whistleblower.

Far from it, as the title of his essay, Don't Listen to the Whingers - London Needs Immigrants, suggests, he is still four square behind the imposition of the Multicult upon the bewildered and disenfranchised majority.



On 14 October 2009, Simon Duke wrote the following in The Daily Mail:

"City bank Goldman Sachs is expected to confirm tomorrow that BONUSES WILL SMASH ALL RECORDS IN 2009, JUST A YEAR AFTER THE GOVERNMENT RESCUED THE FINANCIAL SYSTEM FROM OBLIVION...

THE WALL STREET GIANT IS ON COURSE TO LAVISH £14 BILLION ON PAY AND BONUSES ON STAFF THIS YEAR following a surge in profits between July and September… GOLDMAN'S 5,500 UK WORKERS ARE NOW SET TO POCKET AN AVERAGE OF ALMOST £500,000 EACH for this year - the highest rewards in the firm's 140-year history...

High-flyers, such as UK boss MICHAEL SHERWOOD, COULD EARN BONUSES STRETCHING INTO EIGHT FIGURES."

Sherwood, one of two "Masters of the Universe" working for Goldman Sachs cited in Simon Duke's article, is Jewish.

The other, Peter Sutherland, is, truly, a credit-crunching wallet-stuffer of the highest international order. His "Father of Globalisation" CV suggests he would rank much higher in the NWO hierarchy than ubiquitous factotums like Blair or Brown, for example.

At the beginning of the article, he says:

Here’s a novel idea:

Instead of putting the price of everything up and taxing the innocent majority up to the hilt, tax the greedy bankers, the hedge fund managers; the private equity wallahs and the biggest of trough-gobbling big businessmen up to the hilt. Let's have 90 PER CENT OF THEIR INCOME off them! And make the tax retrospective - all the way back to 1979, when Margaret Thatcher began institutionalising fat cat greed!

That’d get rid of the national debt in a flash. And the process would be a just one - As opposed to the injustice of making the decent majority pay for the crimes of an amoral elite minority, that is.

Besides, THEY would still have their 10 per cent, wouldn’t THEY? 10 percent of a billion is still a hundred mil.

As the British people have sought to make sense of sub-prime, the credit-crunch and the world-wide recession that followed, the journalist who has attained most public acclaim and notoriety for guiding us through this financial minefield is, without doubt, Robert Peston, the BBC's Business Editor.

Brown as Chancellor was, AS A MATTER OF DELIBERATE POLICY, STRIKINGLY GENEROUS TO THE CITY'S NEW PLUTOCRATS - THE OWNERS OF HEDGE-FUND AND PRIVATE-EQUITY FIRMS…

Thanks to the magnanimity of Gordon Brown when he was Chancellor, the tax that the partners of these is have been paying on their share of this profit has been AT MOST 10 PER CENT. In fact, due to clever tax planning, SOME PAY JUST 5 PER CENT AND OTHERS PAY NOTHING AT ALL...

IN 2006, THE ACCOUNTANTS GRANT THORNTON ESTIMATED THAT 54 UK-BASED BILLIONAIRES WERE PAYING INCOME TAX OF JUST £14.7M ON A COMBINED FORTUNE OF £126 BILLION… Of these, at least 32 of the billionaire dynasties had probably not paid any personal taxes on their wealth…

What has been going on is A SUPERCHARGED VERSION OF THE TRENDS PROMOTED BY THATCHER…

On 4 March 2006, Tony Blair appeared on an edition of Parkinson.

During the interview, Michael Parkinson asked him if he regretted sending troops into Iraq. Blair replied:

"In the end there is a judgment that, well, I think IF YOU HAVE FAITH ABOUT THESE THINGS THEN YOU REALISE THAT JUDGMENT IS MADE BY OTHER PEOPLE," he said.

Asked to explain what he meant, Blair replied:

"IF YOU BELIEVE IN GOD, IT'S MADE BY GOD AS WELL."

So now you know.

As far as The Dear Leader was concerned, as soon as Iraq went pear-shaped, the decision to invade wasn't his.

The decision was made by "other people and... God as well".

Is this OK by you, ladies and gentlemen?

Are you happy that the leader of the British people was prepared to bow to will of "others" and "God" in the matter of making war?

On 23 May 2009, John Burton, Tony Blair’s political agent in his Sedgefield constituency for 24 years, described his former boss thus in The Telegraph:

He believed strongly at the time, that INTERVENTION IN KOSOVO, SIERRA LEONE, IRAQ TOO, WAS ALL PART OF THE CHRISTIAN BATTLE; GOOD SHOULD TRIUMPH OVER EVIL… HIS RELIGION GAVE HIM A TOTAL BELIEF IN WHAT'S RIGHT AND WHAT'S WRONG”.

That's the shiny-eyed Messiah, responsible for creating hell on earth in Iraq and Afghanistan, this twit is talking about.

"Living out his faith," Johnny? Whilst so many others were dying from it?

Not my kind of Christianity, pal. And not Jesus Christ's either.



At the Tory Party Conference, in October 2000, Michael Portillo said this:

“We are for all Britons. Black Britons, British Asians, white Britons. BRITAIN IS A COUNTRY OF RICH DIVERSITY”.

Britain is a country of festering hatreds, Michael.

The “rich diversity” rubbish is what saw fifty two innocent Londoners blown to bits on 7/7/2005.



On 11 December 2006, Valerie Amos, Tony Blair’s Leader of the House of Lords, said this from the 10 Downing Street web site:

"OUR MULTI-CULTURAL SOCIETY HAS BEEN A SUCCESS AND MORE IMPORTANTLY BRITISH PEOPLE THINK THAT TOO. EIGHTY PER CENT of those surveyed about multi-culturalism in Britain say that one of the reasons they enjoy being British and living in Britain is BECAUSE OUR SOCIETY IS DIVERSE…

I AM AN IMMIGRANT MYSELF… I value the fact that I have multiple identities. I am British. I was born in Guyana. I HAVE A STRONG AFFINITY TO AFRICA...

THE LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER COMMUNITY ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INCLUSIVENESS AGENDA...

The Brit-bashing race laws are “the best way” to promote “inclusive communities” and torture those who don’t think like you, Val.

The PC Crowd had that figured out by 1965 when the first such law was introduced.

As regards the eighty per cent who, according to you, “enjoy being British and living in Britain… because our society is diverse”, I wonder which section of the population you surveyed? Was it the bit located in Brixton, Tottenham, Wormwood Scrubs or the Westminster village, perhaps?

What do you think, ladies and gents? Do you think the black Baroness is being just a little economical with the actualité here? I mean, does anyone out there actually believe that the British people enjoy being ethnically cleansed out of their own back yards and sneered at, threatened, fined and imprisoned if they ever dare say “boo“ to the immigrant goose?

Tony Blair made Amos a life peer in 1997 and, in 2003, he appointed her Secretary of State for International Development. At this time the unelected Guyanan immigrant became the first black woman to sit in the UK Cabinet. Later in 2003, she was created Leader of the House of Lords. Although she left the Cabinet when Gordon Brown became Prime Minister, he nominated her as a European Union Special Representative to the African Union.

Amos, who was Chief Executive of the Equal Opportunities Commission from 1989 to 1994 and Deputy Chair of the Runnymede Trust from 1990 to 1998, has spent the whole of her working life promoting the cause of immigrants just like herself.

In other words, she's never had a proper job in her life.



On 17 January 2009, The French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, echoed Marr's desire to disappear the white European in an address to the students of the École Polytechnique in Palaiseau.

Early on in his speech he uses a form of the noun "métissage" seven times within a minute. This word can mean mixing of cultures and/or interbreeding.

Here is a translation of Sarkozy’s words:

"The objective is to meet the challenge of the mélange - the challenge of coming together that the 21st century is confronting us with. The challenge of the melting pot, France has always been familiar with it and, by meeting the challenge of the mix, France remains faithful to her history. On 23 April 2006, The Times reported the remarks of Professor Ted Cantle, Tony Blair's senior race relations advisor at the time of the Oldham Riots.

This is what was said:

On 30 April 2006, the Institute Of Community Cohesion, an organisation founded by Ted Cantle, produced a report titled: Challenging Local Communities to Change Oldham; a Review of Community Cohesion in Oldham.

“Oldham needs to further transform itself INTO THE BOROUGH THAT DEFEATED SEGREGATION… a beacon for best practice IN BUILDING COHESION ACROSS ALL ITS COMMUNITIES.”

What do you think The ISC means by this?

Perhaps the following statement will give you a clue:

“The Tenancy Support Team within FCHO has had considerable success in SETTLING AND SUPPORTING BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC FAMILIES MOVING INTO AREAS WITH A LOW BME PRESENCE.”

In other words, Cantle’s crew were praising the fact that immigrants had been successfully foist upon those indigenous Oldham residents that had, up till then, successfully repelled attempts to impose the Multicult upon them.

The ISC adds:

“ACCELERATING THE PACE OF CHANGE IS CRITICAL. Oldham will experience dramatic changes in the composition of its population over the next two decades, WITH ITS WHITE POPULATION DECLINING AND ITS BME POPULATION INCREASING.”

Thus did the ISC suggest not only that they are determined that Oldham should become less and less white but that “accelerating the pace” of this process is “critical”!

On 17 June 2007, Marie Woolf, Political Editor of The Independent on Sunday, told us what David Lammy, New Labour's Culture Minister, was thinking at the time.

On 28 December 2008, Lammy, who was by this time, the Minister for Higher Education, appeared on Celebrity Mastermind.

You might have expected a Higher Education Minister to have done very well on such a show. Particularly as Victoria Derbyshire, a BBC Radio presenter, had recently blown the whistle on her bosses regarding "crib sheets" being made available for the various celebs.

At one point in the show Lammy was asked this question:

"Who acceded to the English throne at the age of 9 on the death of his father Henry VIII in 1547?"

Lammy answered: "Henry VII"!

Which, when you think about it, was not the most intelligent thing a Mastermind contestant has ever said.

Nanette Ecker co-authored a UNESCO report which recommended "children as young as five receive mandatory sexual education that would teach (them) about masturbation". (Fox News - 26 August 2009)

On 4 September 2009, Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, opined thus.

On 11 August 2009, the Foreign Secretary, David Miliband, appeared on Radio 4's "Great Lives" to pay tribute to his own choice of a "great life", the former leader of both the South African Communist Party and the ANC's military wing, Jo Slovo.

On 9 August 2004, the Darcus Howe documentary, "Who You Calling A Nigger" featured Shaja, a British born Pakistani living in the Burchill's area of Walsall.

On 14 July 2009, New Labour’s "Cohesion" Minister, Shahid Malik, said this in The House of Commons:

Malik commented as he did in a debate about the contrast between the preferential treatment doled out to the Gypsy and Traveller communities, which Malik thought was right and just, at the expense of local people.

On 9 July 2009, Fay Maxted of The Survivors Trust was quoted thus by The Daily Mail:

On 10 July 2009, Commenting on New Labour's reaction to the embarassing honesty of Judge Ian Trigger, Richard Littlejohn wrote this in The Daily Mail:

On 14 September 2009, an unnamed teacher was quoted thus in a Melanie Philips’ Mail on Sunday article:

“PATRIOTISM ABOUT BEING BRITISH DIVIDES GROUPS ALONG RACIAL LINES WHEN WE AIM TO BRING PUPILS TO AN UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT MAKES US THE SAME.”

Melanie Philips, herself, responded:

THESE TEACHERS HAVE PRODUCED EQUALITY, ALL RIGHT: AN EQUALITY OF ROOTLESSNESS. THEY HAVE ALSO PRODUCED WIDESPREAD IGNORANCE... People are usually desperate if they cannot root themselves. Yet FOR IDEOLOGICAL REASONS, THE TEACHING WORLD DECIDED UNILATERALLY TO DEPRIVE CHILDREN OF THE ABILITY TO DO SO.

On 31 January 2008, Michael Hand, of the Institute of Education, was quoted thus by The Daily Mail:

“THE CASE FOR PROMOTING PATRIOTISM IN SCHOOLS IS WEAK. PATRIOTISM IS LOVE OF ONE'S COUNTRY, BUT ARE COUNTRIES REALLY APPROPRIATE OBJECTS OF LOVE? LOVING THINGS CAN BE BAD FOR US!'... Since all national histories are at best morally ambiguous, IT'S AN OPEN QUESTION WHETHER CITIZENS SHOULD LOVE THEIR COUNTRIES!"

The Mail added:

“Moral failings in Britain's past mean PUPILS SHOULD NOT BE TAUGHT PATRIOTISM, teachers said in a survey. Nearly 90 PER CENT OPPOSED PLANS FOR HISTORY AND CITIZENSHIP LESSONS AIMED AT FOSTERING NATIONAL IDENTITY AND PRIDE...

PATRIOTISM SHOULD BE COVERED AS A 'CONTROVERSIAL ISSUE' ONLY.

The Left-leaning institute polled 47 teachers and 299 students at secondary schools in the capital. THREE-QUARTERS OF THE STAFF SAID THEY FELT OBLIGED TO ALERT THEIR PUPILS TO THE DANGERS OF PATRIOTIC SENTIMENTS.

'PRAISING PATRIOTISM EXCLUDES NON-BRITISH PUPILS,' said one. 'PATRIOTISM ABOUT BEING BRITISH IN MY EXPERIENCE TENDS TO BE A WHITE PRESERVE SO DIVIDES GROUPS ALONG RACIAL LINES, WHEN WHAT WE AIM TO DO IS BRING PUPILS TO AN UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT MAKES US ALL THE SAME.'

A third said: 'LEFT TO MY OWN DEVICES I WOULDN'T DREAM OF COVERING IT REALLY, EXPLICITLY. TO ME IT SORT OF REEKS OF THE OLD BRITISH EMPIRE’.”

So, the Institute of Education thinks:

PATRIOTISM = CONTROVERSIAL!

OUR HISTORY = MORALLY AMBIGUOUS!

On 28 March 2009, Simon Walters said this in The Mail on Sunday:

“Most Church of England bishops show little or no interest in the idea of celebrating St George's Day by asking all churches to ring their bells.
ONLY FIVE OUT OF THE CHURCH'S 44 BISHOPS ENTHUSIASTICALLY BACK THE PLAN - AND SEVERAL ARE HOSTILE, CLAIMING IT COULD BE 'DANGEROUS' AND CAUSE A BACKLASH FROM OTHER RELIGIOUS GROUPS.”

By my reckoning that makes 39 out of 44 Bishops are anti-English.

As for those that are “hostile”, they’d be traitors by the same Anglophile reckoning.

In June 2009, Gordon Brown made Andy Burnham his new Health Secretary.

At the Visionaries web site, certain people are described as having been appointed as Joseph Rowntree Visionaries for a Just and Peaceful World.

Karen Chouhan, a girlfriend of the dreadful Ken Livingstone anti-Brit, Lee Jasper, is one of these Visionaries. She was awarded this accolade for her “black-led decision making approach to race equality in the UK”.

At her own page at the Visionaries site, Chouhan describes her “vision” thus:

You heard it here, folks, there is a "race agenda" that the visionary has in mind for our white "communities".

It is an agenda that "black communities" will "lead" and be "deciding" upon.

On 8 August 2008, Deputy Chief Constable Jon Murphy was quoted thus in The Times:

So, the idiocy (or intent) of the politicians caused a “big shift by organised criminals into cannabis”.

Don’t you think that they might have guessed that if “the profits were high but the penalties were less”, criminality in this area might increase?

Perhaps the politicians behind the “different approach” (the law was changed so that cannabis usage and possession was no longer an arrestable offence in most cases) weren’t being stupid. Perhaps they weren’t just being ultra PC and lessening the criminal load for their immigrant pets.

Figures from the Office for National Statistics show that 536,000 immigrants signed up with a GP practice in England and Wales in 2008 alone.

On 22 December 2009, The Daily Mail quoted the response of Dr Richard Fieldhouse, Chief Executive of the National Association of Sessional GPs, which represents locum doctors, to these figures thus:

"THE WORKLOAD AT PRACTICES IS STRAINING AT THE SEAMS. Quite a lot of cover is for BURNT OUT GPS BECAUSE THEY CANNOT COPE WITH THIS. People can only work so many hours a week. Some locums have seen bookings increase by 30 per cent year on year."

Matthew Elliott, chief executive of the Taxpayer's Alliance, added:

"Existing patients must always come first and IT IS CLEARLY UNACCEPTABLE THAT SOMEONE WHO HAS PAID FOR THE NHS THROUGHOUT THEIR WORKING LIFE SHOULD FACE DELAYS OR QUEUES AS A RESULT OF RECENT IMMIGRATION USING THE NHS AHEAD OF THEM."

Despite the appalling workload of many GPs and the disappearance of quality time with their doctor that the British are suffering as a result of mass migration, the New Labour government (the one that beckoned all these unwanted foreigners into our country) has decreed that the NHS must find savings of £20 billion over the next four years.

On 15 September 2009, Archbishop of York, John Sentamu, said this in The Daily Mail:

On 6 August 2009, Martin Sixsmith, a former Head of Communications at the Department of Transport in the Blair Government, said this in The Daily Mail:

On 4 July 2008, Tarique Ghaffur, Assistant Commissioner of the Met, was quoted thus in The Daily Mail:

On 10 December 1973, National Security Council Memorandum 200, Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests, was added to the USA's list of "Classified and Confidential" documents.

On 4 February 2003, 73 British Parliamentarians signed an Early Day Motion, introduced by the New Labour MP, Neil Gerrard, titled: Humane Treatment for Migrants with HIV.

This said:

"This House notes the recent upsurge in inflammatory media coverage depicting asylum seekers as disease carriers and terrorists, notes how damaging such reports can be to people who have come to this country, in search of a safe haven and freedom from political persecution BUT ALSO HAVE HIV; believes that SUCH MEDIA ATTENTION ONLY FUELS RACISM AND STIGMA which is wholly counterproductive to THE NECESSITY TO TREAT SUCH INDIVIDUALS WITH RESPECT AND COMPASSION".

Now, it seems to me that a politician whose first instinct would put the welfare of an HIV-positive would-be immigrant, before any thought of the dire consequences that the importation of such diseases might have upon his indigenous constituents, poses an enormous threat to the wellbeing of those who elected him.

The unthinking sympathies of such people place the health, happiness and, for that matter, the survival of the native born population at tremendous risk.

If the British electorate would protect themselves and their children from the blinkered generosity of these politically correct bleeding hearts, such one-sided generosity should not be tolerated. ONE IN 10 YOUNG PEOPLE ARE NOW INFECTED WITH CHLAMYDIA, WHICH CAN CAUSE INFERTILITY IN WOMEN. SYPHILIS RATES HAVE JUMPED BY 500% IN THE LAST SIX YEARS, while gonorrhoea infections have doubled. More people are also being diagnosed with HIV than ever before. Around 6,500 people were told they had the disease last year.

THE REPORT FOUND THAT THE NHS IS FAILING TO ADDRESS OR EVEN RECOGNISE THE PROBLEM. IT SAYS SEXUAL HEALTH CLINICS ARE ILL-EQUIPPED TO COPE AND ARE TURNING AWAY HUNDREDS OF PATIENTS EACH WEEK…

THE REPORT BLAMED A LACK OF POLITICAL DIRECTION AND UNDER-FUNDING OVER MANY YEARS FOR THE CRISIS".



On 14 November 2008, The Daily Mail told us this:

On 14 October 2005, at a meeting convened at Howard University in Washington, Dr. Kamau Kambon, a lecturer in Africana Studies at North Carolina State University, said this:

Kambon has been a Visiting Professor at North Carolina State University since 2003.

Before teaching at NCSU, he was a Professor of Education at St. Augustine's College in North Carolina's capital, Raleigh. In 1999, a Citizen's Award was bestowed upon him by the left-wing newspaper, The Independent Weekly.

Sayle, who was speaking out against the Israeli invasion of Gaza, added:

"I think that Israel has an idea of itself as being noble. When you attack somebody but you have this idea of yourself that you're the good guy - you think 'how can this be?' What you do is BLAME THE PEOPLE YOU HAVE KILLED - and you hear all the time from Israeli spokespeople that THEY ARE ANGRY WITH THE PEOPLE THAT THEY HAVE MURDERED, FOR MAKING THEM MURDER THEM."

The following day, he told the BBC that Israel's response was "massively disproportionate", adding:

"Stop killing people, STOP KILLING CHILDREN and then start thinking about the little things after that."

On 6 August 2008, The Daily Mail quoted Adam Sampson, of the housing charity Shelter, regarding the rate of home repossession in Gordon Brown's Cool Britannia:

"We have reached crisis point in the number of people at risk of repossession and alarm bells must be ringing in Government. These figures paint a terrifying picture showing real people living in the shadow of repossession and ultimately homelessness."

The Mail added:

"Mortgage lenders were criticised yesterday for rushing to evict families from their homes, as the number kicked out SOARED BY 41% IN A YEAR... The Financial Services Authority said some lenders were 'too ready' to repossess customers' homes...

FROM JANUARY TO MARCH, 9,152 PEOPLE LOST THEIR HOMES, compared to 6,471 in the same period last year. The FSA also warns that 302,000 FAMILIES ARE IN 'THE LAST CHANCE SALOON', having not made repayments for at least three months."

In his book On History, published in 1997, he wrote: 'Fragile as the communist systems turned out to be, only a limited, even minimal, use of force was necessary to maintain them from 1957 until 1989.' Somehow, he had forgotten about the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968.

Asked whether 'the radiant tomorrow' promised by Stalin would have justified 'the loss of 15 to 20 million people', HOBSBAWM SIMPLY REPLIED: 'YES'...

Despite all this - despite his well-publicised support for an inhumane regime - HE IS WIDELEY TEATED AS A GRAND, AS WELL AS A DELIGHTFUL OLD MAN, WHOSE VIEWS DESERVE TO BE VENERATED.

One may wonder why Hobsbawm should seek an honour from a country for which he has never shown much affection, and whose interests he undermined during the Cold War through his support for the Soviet Union... It would be as pointless to demand that he be stripped of his Companion of Honour as it would be to ask Gordon Brown to think again about Senator Kennedy's honorary knighthood. NEW LABOUR HAS EMBRACED BOTH THESE GHASTLY MEN WITH OPEN EYES."

"We love to praise, honour and reward those who don't really like us - who may indeed hate us", says Glover.

This, of course, is not true. We have never wanted anything to do with "those who don't really like us", much less anyone who "hates" us.

However, the powers-that-be do indeed "love to praise, honour and reward those... who may indeed hate us".

The better to dismay and demoralise those THEY, themselves, hate.
